Peyton Hays, MD
Peyton Hays, MD, is a board certified orthopedic hand surgeon serving the Long Island area. Dr. Hays graduated with honors from Cornell University – Weill Medical College and completed his orthopedic surgery residency and combined research fellowship at University of Massachusetts Medical Center. During his final year, he served as Chief Resident. Dr. Hays completed an additional year of fellowship training in hand and upper extremity at Harvard Medical School - Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center where he worked closely with the nation’s leading hand and upper extremity surgeons.
Dr. Hays’s academic interests have led to prestigious research fellowships at Mayo Clinic, Hospital for Special Surgery, New York Presbyterian Hospital, and University of Massachusetts. His work has been presented at meetings internationally.
Dr. Hays specializes in disorders of the hand, wrist and elbow including carpal tunnel syndrome, cubital tunnel syndrome, trigger finger, DeQuervain’s tenosynovitis, Dupuytren’s disease, tennis and golfer’s elbow, arthritis, and traumatic injuries. He has been recognized for his attentive and compassionate patient care.
